In Home Cancer Care
During treatment or recovery at home, FirstChoice Chronic Care makes life easier for people fighting cancer. We offer a wide range of highly skilled caregivers who are available immediately to support clients and their families. After surgery or during chemotherapy or radiation treatments, our hospital sitters can monitor and provide companionship, run errands or summon the charge nurse in an emergency. They also enable you or your other family members to go home and rest, knowing your loved one won’t be alone. FirstChoice Chronic Care can make the transition home and recovery easier and more comfortable. Enabling Oncology patients to focus solely on their recovery, a FirstChoice Chronic Care caregiver can prepare meals, do light housework, help with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, give medication reminders, provide companionship, help with exercising and provide transportation to and from the doctors’ appointments or treatments. Caregivers promote recovery by reducing stress, fatigue and depression.
